Monday, October 22, 2007On Monday we drove up to Acadia National Park.  We spent most of the day hiking and enjoying Acadia.  The first part of the trail we followed actually cut right across a beach.  This photo is taken from the overlook above, down on the beach below.Cadillac Mountain inside the park is the tallest point on the East Coast.  If you stand at the peak alone at dawn you are the first one to see the sun rise in the US.We had dinner on Monday evening in Bar Harbor.  No trip to New England is complete without some chowda’
