During 1 of my 39 hours at home last weekend, Adam and I had dinner at Uncommon Ground, right around the corner from our house.  Much to his dismay I insisted we drive, but that is another matter entirely.Despite the service at Uncommon Ground being a bit uneven (Adam speculated Peter the waiter was high) the food was delish and the company divine.  As we were sitting there I admired some of the artwork on the walls.  They rotate work from different Chicago artists through the space.  I fell particularly in love with this piece “View from the L.”  We couldn’t afford the $4,000 price tag of the original (geesh!)  But my hubby-to-be is humoring me and agreed to the (MUCH more affordable) print. I think it’s destined for the living room.
